Adding a printer with DamonTek is a very simple process that any user can do. Our software recognizes the location of your computer based on the IP address that is assigned when you connect to the network.
- To add a printer, click on the "carrot" symbol in the bottom right corner of your screen on the Windows toolbar.
- Icons for services that are running will be displayed.
- Click on the icon that looks like a printer with a green plus (+) sign.
- On the left side menu, click on the office/location where you want to print.
- On the right side pane, click on the printer that you want to use.
- A popup window will ask you if you wish to install the printer.
- If you want this printer to be your default printer, click the checkbox to "Set as default printer"
- Click yes to install the printer.
- A popup window will indicate the progress of the installation.
- A message will confirm when the printer is installed and ready for use.
